MOSCOW, Nov 3 (PRIME) -- Russian Internet companies Yandex and Mail.ru Group and state-controlled telecom operator Rostelecom will design a domestic videoconferencing service, Digital Development Minister Maksut Shadayev said on Tuesday at a meeting at the Federation Council, the parliament’s upper house.
“Yandex and Mail.ru independently invest in their large platforms of online communication together with Rostelecom to ensure a competitive (video conferencing) service for our schools, to organize lessons online,” Shadayev said.
“These services will be available in 2022.”
